柯文哲昨天出席台北市性別平等辦公室舉辦的「性別議題公共論壇」時稱，他翻數據一看，發現其實台灣沒結婚的男生比女生多「奇怪！台灣不是有很多外籍新娘，都已經『進口』30萬，怎麼還會這樣？」，發言遭批評歧視女性。
民進黨今晚發新聞稿，認為柯文哲這是一個不恰當的說法。民進黨指出台灣是個移民社會，應該對新移民予以充分尊重，並積極推動相關政策和法案，使各族群都能獲得公平的對待。
民進黨表示，民進黨在執政時期，更加速與國際接軌，積極消弭人口販運等問題。希望這種傷害族群感情的錯誤說法，不會再出現，也讓來到台灣的所有移民，可以在新故鄉感受到溫暖。
民進黨指出，主席蔡英文在接受媒體採訪時也表示，希望柯文哲的用詞能夠格外謹慎，並對於女性在這個社會所面對的困難和挑戰，拿出有效的政策來幫助婦女朋友。相信經過社會一次又一次的提醒，柯文哲會再斟酌他的用語。1040308
